Spice

Crazy, hot stuff
So recently I bought myself 30 packs of a certain spicy kind of ramen. It's called Mama Tom Yum ramen and it's REALLY SPICY. Even more spicy than the Korean Shin cups that I've been living on (and I used to think nothing could be spicier than those shin cups!!). It's comparable to taking in all of hell in one bite. Seriously.

It got me thinking: how much spice could I really take? A couple of days ago, I ate Cup Noodles, the normal brand that practically everyone on campus has, and the spice? Kind of pathetic. My friend had recommended that I add sriracha and I did! But it wasn't enough. To her immense surprise, I had added in 5x the amount of what she usually puts in. And honestly, it was kind of disgusting after that point since it was basically sriracha
water. My friend said, "Wow, it must be your korean tastebuds!"

Is it genetic? Is it simply just my getting used to spice? Or both? I don't know, but what I do know is that this ramen is seriously spicy and I recommend it to y'all. If any of you are brave enough to try some, I'd be glad to hand some over (mostly because I want to see your reactions).

Last night my son was showing off for his friend by dumping sriracha on his pizza; he ended up bright red and sweating.

I'd LOVE to try this spicy ramen--and maybe he would, too, now that his taste buds have recovered!
