In a state of incurable snacking last week, I realized that I really wanted S'mores. The more I thought about them, I realized that S'mores are an incredibly inconvenient snack to crave. Who has a campfire on hand? No one. Most of the fireplaces at Smith are banned, most of the stoves are electric, and microwave S'mores are gross. This got me thinking about alternative methods, ones that don't require fire/heat. Suddenly, I had a lightbulb. Marshmallow fluff and Nutella. BAM! (a.k.a. My mind being blown.) That would be delicious! I was so proud of myself and I told all of my friends about my ingenious discovery.
As I began writing this post I had a thought: "I should check if this is on the internet." This hadn't occurred to me before, seriously. OF COURSE IT WAS ALL OVER THE INTERNET. My perfect creation was sadly only a replication of something previously invented. That does not make it any less delicious though. Also, just because someone else thought of it first doesn't make my discovery any less awesome. I haven't actually tied these "No Bake S'mores", as they're apparently called. Traditional S'mores will always be the best, but I have faith that these No Bakes are a nice ode to the original.
Check out these pictures (and maybe plan to get some S'mores ingredients very soon).
I also posted a link to a recipe. Just in case you get confused... no shame.
