Since this week prospective students were on campus, the dining halls seemed to be at there very best. They had table clothes with electric candles and the food they served was delicious. As I was serving myself some chicken, pasta, and bread, I noticed some ice-cream cake on the side. I got closer to confirm that it was ice-cream cake. It was not only ice-cream cake, it was coffee ice-cream cake and I had to have a slice. So, I sat down on my table to leave my plate of food and returned to get my slice of coffee ice-cream cake. When I got back to my table, I ate my food quicker than usual since I was excited for my ice-cream cake and of course before it melted.
As I took my first spoonful, I was extremely happy with the flavors. It was sweet but not too sweet and I really enjoyed the chocolate crumbs of crunchiness on the bottom of the cake that complimented the ice-cream. I really enjoyed my meal but I was also concerned at the fact that it was mainly because the prospective students were on campus. Since it is rare when they do have amazing desserts like this, I can't wait to see what's for next year during open campus!
